UK CLassic Car Clubs
Our aims are simply to promote the preservation and use of the postwar Morris Minor, 1.6 million of which were built between 1948 and 1971.
The Morris Minor was designed by Sir Alec Issigonis (creator of the Mini) and built by William Morris (Lord Nuffield) and later by the British Motor Corporation and then British Leyland. Its innovative design, simplicity, durability and style have created fame and familiarity known the world over.
The MMOC exists to unite these people who have a fondne We provide a focal point for all enthusiasts of this unique sports car. Founded in 1984, we are established on the classic car scene, with members not only in the UK, but all over the World. Membership is open to all interested in the Fiat X1/9 and Bertone X1/9 models, no matter whether it's in standard guise or modified form The Club has 300+ members. Though the majority is UK based there are over 30 members in Australia with many others around the world due to the countries our cars were exported to after the war.
The Club is currently hosting one national rally a year, and is represented at local regional events around the country throughout the year.
Membership runs from July to July with new members joining in between paying a proportion amount. The Scimitar Drivers' Club International has been running for over 12 years and during that time it has remained true to the principal that the Club will be a Non-Profit making organization run for the benefit of it's members. A genuine Club which is run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts.
All members of the Committee are unpaid and receive no financial reward for the time and work they commit to the Club.
The Club caters for every model of Scimitar produced, from the earliest Reliant Sci TIPEC is an entirely independent, not-for-profit Club. It is run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts and is not connected with Porsche AG in any way.
TIPEC's aim is to help further members' enjoyment and interest in their Porsche motor cars, no matter which model, and to help promote good fellowship among all Porsche owners.
We offer a wide range of social events; drives, track days, karting, regular evening and day runs throughout the UK and into Europe. All models are warmly welcomed at our Bullnose, Flatnose and Snubnose describe the radiator shape of the Morris Oxford and Morris Cowley car & van types, made by William Morris - later Lord Nuffield.
